Through my art projects I wish to gain a deeper understanding on human behaviour and enrich the existence through telling stories. At times I use writing, other times audio, video, spoken word or photography – the medium depends on the experience I wish convey.

Mother’s Wardrobe
Mother’s Wardrobe is a biographical artwork that discusses how it feels like to grow up without a mother and how the abilities to process sadness change over time. The artwork is a collection of images where Eveliina Nieminen appears in her mother’s clothes, photographed by her sister Martta Nieminen.
The artwork was introduced as a photography exhibition in Kulttuuritehdas Korjaamo, as a book, a virtual gallery and a pop-up exhibition at Ivana Helsinki. Mother’s Wardrobe book is available e.g. in Akateeminen Kirjakauppa, Nide Kirjakauppa and through the artwork’s website thefondest.com/mothers-wardrobe.html
